Morning Prayer 12 May 2021 (Wednesday)

Morning Prayer with four hymns: "Come see the Lord in his breathtaking splendour" (opening hymn), "How good and pleasant it is" (Psalm 133), "Let's sing to God our maker" (Exodus 15, the OT canticle) and "What a friend we have in Jesus" (prompted by 1 Peter 5:7). You will need a bible for the bible readings in this service. (The order of service loosely follows the Church of England's "Common Worship Daily Prayer" format, except that canticles are omitted or replaced by hymns. We follow the ordinary course of the Weekday Lectionary, and not the special readings for saints' days.)
