찬송가 '주님께 귀한것 드려' (Hymn : Give of your best to the Master) - simple variation by Sarang H.Lee

[English Below] 아침에 문득, 요즘 만나고 있는 친구들을 생각하며. 요즘 나의 고통스러웠던 시간을 그대로 똑같이 걷고 있는 학생들이 자꾸만 눈에 들어온다. 아침에 피아노 앞에 앉아 이것저것 쳐보다가, 문득 이 찬송가를 치는데 그들 한사람 한사람의 얼굴이 자꾸 생각났다. 그때까지는 분명 별 생각없이 치던 피아노였는데,, 그들을 생각하기 시작하자 응원하듯, 노래하듯 내 마음이 그리 변해가는것을 느끼며 내가 오늘을 사는 이유, 거기서 그들을 만난 이유에 대해 깊이 감사할 수 있었다. 그들이 성장하고 있다 - 요즘 우리는 그놈의 '두려움', 나 역시 거진 죽을뻔 했다가 겨우 빠져나온 그 죽일놈의 두려움을 정면으로 마주하고 극복해가는 방법에 대해 같이 얘기하고 있다. 응원하는 마음, 잘되길 바라는 마음이가득하다. 나를 훨씬 능가하는 음악가들이 되도록, 꼭.. 정성을 다해야지. ... 옆에 있을께. 나의 선생님이, 나의 하나님이, 나의 남편이 그토록 오래 기다려 주었던 것처럼, 나도 옆에서 천천히, 너와 같이 걸을께. 같이 가자 우리 :) ㅡ 'Thinking of my students' After several times' long & deep conversations with my students who've been suffering with their own issues - just like I did. Looking back, I'd been afraid, too, for really long time of my life. And now I know that the "fear" had become sort of the chain to my soul and it always has blocked me from enjoying life and feeling free at every single moment of my youth. This morning I was thinking of them, and realised that that's why I've been called as a teacher and have met them. Happily, their real growth which they've shown me during this semester, as artists and human beings, has amazed me and now I really feel grateful and satisfied for this "fruit" which we've made together. This song, old hymn called 'Give of Your Best to the Master', I was playing the piano this morning and coincidentally was playing variation on its chord progression. And during this performance, something came up from my mind and I wanted to share it with them, so made this short video. This is the very thing which I wanted to tell them : "Guys, just DREAM and do not fear! It's okay, I mean you'll be okay. And I will be there for you whenever you're lost, so don't worry. There's nothing to fear!! Just do your work and enjoy your life :)♡" ..... I mean, "you're safe". And regarding the fear, it is pretending like threatening your life but that actually is nothing like... "shadow".
