My visit to Himeji - Mt. Shosha and Himeji Castle!! - December 28th 2021

Hello everyone!! :) This was my 5th day using the Seishun 18 Kippu. On this day I was planning to go to Gifu, but due to heavy snow, the trains were cancelled. So I made another plan to visit Himeji for the day! I went on the ropeway to Mt. Shosha to visit the many temples on the mountain! There was Engyoji and Maniden. This is famous for being part of "The Last Samurai" movie! Then I went back via bus to the Himeji Castle. However, it was already sunset and the castle was closed. Despite this, I still got to enter the gates and take some good photos and video of the castle from a distance! So that was good!! I would love to visit Himeji again and spend more time there. On my way back, I found a cute vegan cafe and bought lots of sweets, curry, soy meat and a cupcake the chef had made. It was great!!
