Every NBA Team is Running the SAME OFFENSE

Gone are the days of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant playing 1v1 to score in the NBA. In the past 3-4 years there has been a major shift in how NBA teams have decided to play offense. It most likely started with the "death lineups" of the Heat/Cavs, that made teams like the Golden State Warriors start to play small, and then centers started becoming perimeter shooters, and today we see every team running the same conceptual offense. Everyone now has a 5 man that plays on the perimeter, setting ballscreens, geting into dribble handoffs, and directing this free flowing offense that is beautiful to watch and difficult to guard. In this video, I breakdown the most common actions that NBA teams are incorporating into their offensive system that is proving to not only be esthetically pleasing, but VERY effective. These concepts fit perfectly with The Gap Theory that I base my offensive principles on, and in this video you'll see why they're a match made in heaven.
