According to a Statistics Canada study, 35 per cent of Canadians said they increased their consumption of junk food in the first two months of the pandemic.. And according to data collected by researchers at Ontario’s University of Guelph, Canadian families increased their consumption of snack foods — and food in general — during the last year and a half. Blueberry Compote Recipe: Ingredients: 2 Cups of frozen or fresh blueberries 1 Lemon slice Directions: 1. Pour blueberries into a small pot 2. Squeeze lemon slice over blueberries (approx. 1 teaspoon) 3. Place on stovetop, medium heat, until blueberries are liquid-y 4. Take off stove top and let compote cool until congealed 5.
