SWAPO probes in-fighting
The congress took a closer look at the issue of indiscipline in the party, that is said to have been the major cause for the recent infighting and division. For the first time ever the Swapo party has amended the party's constitution to allow for 50/50 representation of women and men its leadership structures. This transpired over the weekend during the party's Extra-ordinary Congress.
