DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation Review- it helps you win MORE, but it doesn't help you win...
DLSS has now been updated to support x2 x3 and x4 frame generation modes on the new RTX 50 series GPUs, while the 40 series has an improved x2 model. The older RTX cards do not support frame generation at this time, but Nvidia has hinted they will explore the possibility of adding support in the future. In this video I explain why frame generation is a great tool to take advantage of high refresh rate displays if your GPU is already capable of achieving a good framerate without it (50-60 FPS), but why it is not great at going from low framerates to high framerates. So it should not be considered raw performance, but it is a very nice feature to take advantage of the motion fluidity of extremely high refresh rate displays.
