With a long and storied history over fifty years of Pittsburgh performances, it was only fitting that Topeka-bred Progressive Rockers Kansas ended their current 50th Anniversary Tour in the Steel City's Benedum Center. Formerly known as the Stanley Theatre, this century-old building played host to a laundry list of 1970's rock staples, and was one of the first venues, and Pittsburgh one of the first cities, outside of the band's regional fanbase to give this up-and-coming band a break. On December 11th, 2024, the current lineup of Kansas, as well as two of its founding members delivered a memorable night of melodic Progressive Rock to the faithful city of Pittsburgh.
