Koo Young Woong Profile IPA International Photo Exhibition Gold Prize Gold Prize for Photographing in Korea Publishing a UNESCO photo book essayist climbing President's Firing Order of the Imperial Order of Military Merit Pope Francis Blessings seven photo exhibitions seven volumes of books 具英雄 プロフィール IPA国際写真展金賞 韓国写真陣撮影大会金賞 ユネスコ写真集掲載 エッセイスト登壇 大統領奨励褒章 皇祖勤政勲章 ローマ教皇の祝福状 写真展7回 著書7巻 빛고을노인건강타운은 광주 어르신들의 건강하고 행복한 노후 생활 지원을 위해 조성된 전국에서 가장 큰 규모의 노인여가문화시설입니다. 우리 어르신들이 고독과 질병, 무력감과 소외 등에서 벗어나 건강한 웃음과 행복 에너지를 충전할 수 있도록 다양하고 품격높은 여가프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다. 빛고을노인건강타운은 빛고을CC, 광주고령친화산업지원센터, 광주시립제2요양병원, 빛고을 전남대병원 등 주변의 실버 벨트와 연계한 체계화된 시스템으로 어르신들의 건강하고 활력 있는 삶을 든든히 뒷받침하고 있습니다. 2009년 6월 개원한 빛고을노인건강타운은 어르신들이 다양한 여가프로그램을 통해 배우고 쌓아온 재능을 이웃과 세대와 나누며 사회적 가치를 실현하는 ‘사회공헌타운’이자 ‘힐링타운’ 입니다. 빛고을노인건강타운 어르신들께서는 복지서비스를 제공받는 수혜자로 만족하지 않고 나눔과 봉사를 실천하는 멋진 선배시민으로서 새로운 노년문화를 만들어내고 전파하는 주역으로 적극 활동하고 계십니다. ‘음악’ 이웃과 나누고파 “한평생 함께한 음악의 즐거움을 이젠 소외된 이웃과 함께 나누고 싶습니다.” 오케스트라 지휘자이며 사진작가이고 또 수필가인 구영웅씨(82)는 지난 2001년 퇴직 후 빛고을 건강타운 은빛합주단 지휘자로 활동하고 있다. 농성동에 위치한 구영웅씨의 자택은 시시각각 그 쓰임새가 달라진다. 백발의 학생들이 찾아와 악기와 컴퓨터 프로그램을 배우는 교실로, 아코디언, 트럼펫을 연주하는 연습실로, 1000여장 구비된 LP판을 듣는 음악 감상실, 봉사활동과 수업을 준비하는 작업실로 변하기 때문이다. 구영웅씨가 음악과 인연을 맺게 된 것은 중학교 재학시절 브라스 밴드부에 들어가 트럼펫을 배우면서부터 시작됐다. 학창시절 6년 동안 브라스밴드 부원으로 활동한 구씨는 입대하여 육군 7군악대에서 하던 악기를 계속하게 된다. 광주교향악단이 창단되자 입단하여 더욱 실력을 길렀다. 정년이 얼마 남지 않은 시점부터 구씨는 정년 이후의 삶을 고민하기 시작했다. 약국을 운영하고 있던 부인과 잘 성장해준 자녀들에게 부담을 주지 않으면서 음악을 할 수 있는 무언가를 찾기 시작한 것이다. 구씨는 “평생을 함께한 음악을 정년과 동시에 놓는다는 것은 인생의 동반자를 배신하는 것이었다.”며 “그 때부터 음악으로 봉사활동을 할 수 있는 방법을 연구했고, 지난 2010년부터 광주지역 양로원등 복지시설을 찾아가 노인들에게 북, 케스타네츠, 심벌즈등 간단한 악기를 이용해 합주 프로그램을 운영하고, 뜻이 맞는 회원들과 함께 음악 공연을 하고 있다. 정통 합주곡은 물론이거니와 노인들이 좋아하는 트로트, 아이들이 좋아하는 동요 등을 합주에 맞는 악보를 만들기 위해 편곡작업도 직접하고 있다. 구씨는 복지시설을 방문할 때 마다. 수 십 개의 악기를 직접 가지고 가서 각자 특성에 맞는 악기를 가르치고 익히는데 열정을 쏟고 있다. 현재 10년째 요양원 시설을 방문해서 다양한 계층에게 아름다운 음악의 선율을 들려주며 가르치고 있다. 지난2011년부터 광주빛고을노인건강타운의 은빛합주단의 지휘를 맡아 음악지도를 하고 있다. 은빛합주단은 할아버지, 할머니 30명으로 구성돼 아름다운 기악의 선율을 들려주는 실버 오케스트라로 44회째 공연을 가진바 있다. 구씨는 “직접 악기를 연주하며 좋아하는 그 얼굴, 미소를 보면 힘들어도 보람을 느낀다.”며 “고달픈 삶 속에 소외된 이웃들 에게 아름다운 음악선율을 들려주며 음악의 힘을 보여 주고 싶다”고 말했다. 또 사진 후학들에게는 따뜻한 선배로 지도를 개을리 하지 않고 있다. 사진전과 출판기념회를 7번이나 치룬 구씨는 지금 코로나 때문에 촬영에만 활동을 집중하고 있다.
