Trial to begin for former East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner for alleged financial crimes
The trial is set to begin for former East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner this week for alleged financial crimes, which include collecting and failing to remit sales tax, passing bed checks, theft in office and money laundering. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office says the trial’s proceedings are slated to begin at 9 a.m. Monday.
