Boris Johnson’s Brexit trade deal clears House of Lords

Legislation to ratify Boris Johnson’s trade deal with the EU is on the verge of becoming law after it received an unopposed third reading in the House of Lords. The EU (Future Relationship) Act received the backing of the Commons and Lords as the Government rushed approval through both Houses in a single day.
