Corn cheese toast is a delightful snack that combines the sweetness of corn with the richness of cheese. The basic recipe involves spreading a mixture of sweet corn kernels, cheese (often mozzarella or cheddar), and sometimes other ingredients like herbs or spices on toast, then grilling or baking until the cheese melts and forms a golden crust. It's a simple yet satisfying treat that's perfect for a quick bite or as a party snack. #toast #cheese #corn #chefharpalsingh #namakshamak #recipe #cooking #food #indianfood #foodie Ingredients Quantity White bread sliced 8 no Sweet corn kernels 1 cup Salt to taste Black pepper crushed 1 tsp Chilli flakes 1 tsp Mixed herbs 1 tsp Red chilli sauce 3 tbsp Mayonnaise 3 tbsp Green capsicum chopped ¼ cup Cheese grated ¼ cup Fresh coriander sprig 5-6 no White bread sliced 2 no Butter as required Cheese grated 1 cup Mint leaves sprig for garnish Method:- 1. Place your slices of bread directly on the oven rack. 2. Bake for about 5-7 minutes, flipping the bread halfway through. 3. In a mixer jar add sweet corn kernels and grind coarsely. 4. Now in a large mixing bowl add sweet corn paste, salt, crushed black pepper, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, red chilli sauce and mayonnaise mix well. 5. Add fine chopped green capsicum and cheese mix well together. 6. Take fresh coriander sprig and chopped well add in a bowl mix well. 7. Place a pan in medium flame and toast them until golden and crispy on one sides. 8. Once the bread is toasted, spread the butter, corn and cheese mixture generously on top of the bread slices. 9. Put the bread slices with the corn mixture back on the pan and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts completely. 10. Alternatively, you can place the bread slices under an oven for a minute or so to melt the cheese and give it a crispy top. 11. Now add grated cheese and roast for 3-4 minutes in oven. 12. Put the bread slices with the corn mixture back on the pan and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts completely. 13. Switch off the oven and pan and remove from heat serving bowl. You can sprinkle a bit more oregano or chili flakes for extra flavor. 14. Garnish with mint leaves and enjoy your Corn Cheese Toast as a tasty snack or breakfast!
