Kes. (1969) Headmaster Punishes School kids
Considering none of these were proper actors, this scene is(and the whole film) is a real kitchen sink tour de force. Actual Corporal Punishment old school style. According to a Radio 4 interview, the kids were indeed caned by the headmaster. Each was paid an additional 50p for his troubles. The tears from the last kid are genuine. Dir Ken Loach.
