The World Of Corrupt Visions; Part 2 #Apostle Grace Lubega #Phaneroo Devotions
Phaneroo Devotions for Tuesday 17th October, 2023. By Apostle Grace Lubega. Titled; The World Of Corrupt Visions; Part-2. Genesis 3:4-6 (KJV); And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat. From the beginning of time, the devil has sought to derail men from the paths of divine purpose by corrupting their visions. This was the case with Eve in the Garden of Eden. Study the language of the scriptures. The Bible says, ‘When the woman saw…’ She beheld a wrong vision presented to her by the enemy. This happened in Jesus’ time too. In Matthew 16:22-23, the enemy gave Peter a wrong vision of Christ’s mandate on the earth. When the Lord started to speak of His death, the scripture says, ‘Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.’ As a child of God, you must ask yourself, ‘Is my marriage struggling or do I have a wrong vision of marriage?’ ‘Am I sick in body or do I simply have a wrong vision of divine health?’ When God corrects your vision, you will see life from His vantage point and as you do, you will realise that many things in this world are not what they seem. This is why we preach the gospel, its glorious light remedies corrupted visions (2 Corinthians 4:4). Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 4:4; Matthew 16:22-23. GOLDEN NUGGET: When God corrects your vision, you will see life from His vantage point and as you do, you will realise that many things in this world are not what they seem. PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the grace to see this world from where You do. I am elevated in my places of sight. As such, I see nothing from just the surface but look beyond the superficial to the core of things, in Jesus’ name, Amen. More info please visit; https://phaneroo.org/daily-devotion/
