HEAVY ACCIDENT I-75 lots of carnage. Illegal driver?
This could have easily turned into a situation like the one that just happened in Florida or unfortunately just like the one in I-10 in California. the dash cam from this one and the California one are very similar. thankfully the driver swerved at last second this one and the impact only got 2 cars instead of a whole line of them. with the illegal driver that obtained a CDL through the state of California. luckily no one was killed here but as you can see from the cars the damage was catastrophic. The State Patrol called us for a Accident on I75 near Bluffton OH. 8 total vehicles involved luckily no fatalities. This accident was 100 percent the truck drivers fault as traffic was stopped and he didn't react until it was too late. The tractor trailer we were getting had left the southbound lanes and ended up in the northbound lanes taking the cable barriers along with it. Getting the truck out of the cables without cutting them proved to be a bit of a challenge. Once straightened out the units were split so the tractor could be split since the drive axles were knocked out. The tractor was placed into our low profile dolly. IT was 97 degrees this day so the camera overheated a few times. Another Illegal California Driver? What are your thoughts? The video ends as we are hooking the trailer to be sling towed back.
