As we prepare for the clergy transfers in the next few weeks, and I am transferred from Durbanville and we welcome Fr. Geoffrey to replace me, I would like to say a few words of fond farewell to all our parishioners. It has been a great joy for me to be with you, to get to know many of you, both before and during the lockdown, and to experience your faith, hope and love, and great generosity and kindness to me. I will always treasure you in my heart, and pray constantly for your health and well-being, and that of your loved ones, and that we will soon be able to return to worship together as we did before the terrible pandemic struck.
