
Nutrition for Runners, 5k Time Trial, Base Building, UA Infinite Mega first runs!
This week was a little bit of a transition week due to time trialing last Saturday and not being 100% sure where to go from here. I've decided to re-time trial before going into a base built and will give it another 4 weeks of sharpening/tapering into the effort This weeks 5k training workouts were: Tuesday - 400m x 8 w/60 sec rest x 2 (16 total reps) Thursday - 200m on/200m off x 15 - Tempo effort (6:30 on/8 off) Saturday - 13.1 mile progression run (8:30/8/7:30/7:15) We also got to finish out our miles on the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 and that review will go live this week while getting additional miles on the Brooks Glycerin 22 and UA Infinite Mega.
