2024-12-22 10:30 am Celebration of the Mass for the 4th Sunday of Advent

Good morning everyone and welcome to our celebration. We marvel at God's amazing plan for our salvation. He invites us all to cooperate in love. Thank you Mother Mary for your yes. In the reading from the Holy Gospel today, Saint Luke writes of when Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted her relative Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child in her womb leaped for joy, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed iwith a loud cry: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me?" The Responsorial Psalm is Psalm 80: "God of hosts, bring us back; let your face shine on us, and we shall be saved."
