Creatinine is made from the proteins we eat. When we eat, it gets digested in the liver. During metabolization, protein gets converted into creatine, which is temporarily stored by the liver and gradually absorbed by the muscles. 🔹 During this process, a chemical waste called creatinine flows through the blood. The kidney plays a significant role in removing the excess creatinine from the body through urine and maintaining the appropriate creatinine level.
