Dome of Home (Ss. Peter & Paul and St Philomena), New Brighton Dec 12, 2020

Looking inside the "Dome of Home" church on Atherton Street, New Brighton. Officially called Ss. Peter & Paul and St Philomena, this Catholic church got its name during WW2 when returning sailors on the Atlantic convoys to Liverpool saw this landmark dome and realized they were nearly there. It is currently being renovated.
