Each year, for only a few days during the winter holidays, 5th Avenue is closed to traffic for the Holiday Open Streets event. People walk up and down 5th Avenue, admiring the 🌟 Christmas decorations at Saks Fifth Avenue, the tree at 🎄Rockefeller Center, and the windows at Bergdorf Goodman. This year, Open Streets was scheduled for only three days, and one had to be cancelled due to bad weather.
