Separated by the war in Ukraine, a family finally reunites

Viktor Havrashenko fled his home in Izyum with his wife and daughter as the fighting intensified in early March. His elderly parents refused to evacuate and spent six months living under Russian occupation. After Ukraine forces liberated much of the Kharkiv region, Havrashenko was finally able to return home and reunite with his parents.
