1984 AT&T Long Distance TV Commercial "Big City"

This commercial pays homage to the tried and true the grasses greener on the other side formula. The big city vs the small town are brought together as only AT&T can. The commercial was originally aired on 04/14/1984. It was run during the daytime broadcast of movie "Zulu" on WTBS The Super-station Channel 17 in Atlanta. WTBS was an independent station broadcast via satellite all over America. It was the brainchild of Ted Turner and his Turner Broadcasting Systems (the TBS in WTBS)
