✨The psalmist begins this psalm questioning God’s distance from him in times of trouble. The people who do wicked seem to not only get away with these evil acts, but also to prosper. This is because God is longsuffering, wishing that none would perish but that all will come to repentance. God’s ways are not our ways- they are, in fact, much higher than our ways. ✨This psalm reminds us that God does not forget the oppressed and needy. God’s very character is one that is faithful and just. He will not abandon those in need- He will help them, bless them, and render justice in His perfect timing. This psalm reminds us to confidently trust in God during times of trouble. God is sovereign and our eternal King.
