2 Killed in 18-Wheeler Accident on I-94 in Jackson County, MI

Jackson County, MI — June 9, 2025, Two people were killed following an 18-wheeler accident that occurred around 9:00 on I-94. According to official reports, a box truck occupied by two men was traveling west on Interstate 94 under the Airport Road overpass, when for unknown the truck struck the rear of an 18-wheeler pulling two trailers filled with gravel. When first responders arrived on scene they found both men fatally injured and pronounced them deceased. It does not appear that the semi driver sustained any injuries, and at this time authorities are not releasing the identities of the deceased, and the cause for the crash is still being determined.
