5-minute pound cake recipe made from scratch and with only 2 steps. This is an easy pound cake recipe that anybody can do. Jaffry’s Two Step Poundcake: 4 cups cake flour 3 cups granulated sugar 4 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened 3/4 cup buttermilk 6 large eggs, beaten 1 tsp vanilla extract Instructions: Pre heat your oven to 325. In a bowl of a stand mixer (in order) add your cake flour, sugar, butter, buttermilk, large eggs, and vanilla. Mix together those ingredients on low speed for 2 minutes. Scrap down your mixing bowel to make sure everything is incorporated. Then mix on medium for 2 more minutes. Do not mix for more than 4 minutes. Add your poundcake batter to a greased 16 cup tube pan and bake this on 325 for an hour and 30 minutes. Take it out and let it cool for 30 minutes before removing.
