Welcome to our livestreaming of the Eucharistic Celebration here at St. Philomene Parish in Sacramento, CA. In today's gospel, the people responded twice to Jesus, as one with authority, as he taught them and when he cast out to the unclean spirit. What was this authority? Both in word and deed, Jesus touched people in their need. He was revealing God's very presence and life. He is the holy one of God, among them and among us. Therefore, let us have a moment of silence as we prepare ourselves to recognize the Lord among us.
