'They left her outside like a dog': Indigenous woman with Covid 'turned away' from hospital
Wilcannia resident Monica Kerwin says a Covid-positive woman was forced to sit outside the local hospital in the cold. She says the woman was turned away and told to call an ambulance instead. It comes amid an outbreak in the community in far-western New South Wales which has recorded 35 new cases of Covid-19 to 8pm last night. Wilcannia itself has recorded more than 50 cases in the past seven days, with a case rate of five for every hundred residents – the highest in Australia. It is also poorly equipped to handle such a caseload without a single ventilator Subscribe to Guardian News on YouTube ► http://bit.ly/guardianwiressub Aboriginal woman ‘turned away’ from hospital as data reveals Wilcannia worst hit by Covid ► https://www.theguardian.com/australia...
