“I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them, and they shall no longer fear or be dismayed, nor shall any be missing, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 23:4 OUR CHURCH AT WORSHIP - November 23, 2025 (0:00) PRELUDE “Prelude and Fugue in B-Flat Major” – Clara Schumann Althea Waites (0:33) CALL TO WORSHIP (adapted from Psalm 100) Leader: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. People: Serve the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Leader: We are God’s people and the sheep of God’s pasture. People: Enter God’s gates with thanksgiving, for the Lord is good. Leader: God’s steadfast love endures forever. People: God’s faithfulness extends to all generations. (1:30) HYMN - “Now Thank We All Our God” #102 Now thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices, Who wondrous things has done, in whom this world rejoices; Who from our mothers’ arms has blessed us on our way With countless gifts of love, and still is ours today. O may this bounteous God through all our life be near us, With ever joyful hearts and blessed peace to cheer us; And keep us still in grace, and guide us when perplexed; And free us from all ills, in this world and the next. All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given; The Son, and him who reigns with them in highest heaven; The one eternal God, whom earth and heaven adore; For thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore. (4:43) PRAYER OF CONFESSION AND RENEWAL Unison: Compassionate God, when we, like sheep, have been scattered or wandered astray, we need your mercy. When we have lost our way, we look to you for rescue. When we make mistakes, we humbly seek your salvation. Thank you for gazing upon us with the eyes of love. Thank you for gathering us once more into your fold, where we can be held in your grace. Teach us to welcome your forgiveness, walk in your way, and serve you without fear. Amen.
