How to Wet Sand Black Paint to Remove Orange Peel

Wet sanding a black car to remove orange peel is a BIG job, as black paint is one of the HARDEST colors to get looking good. Because of the dark color, any dullness or left over sanding marks will be SUPER obvious. At the same time, it's a very aggressive procedure that removes a lot of clear coat material, so you need to be careful you're not removing too much and burning the paint. In this highlight reel from a recent live detailing class I hosted here on YouTube, I go over my tried and true techniques for wet sanding by hand using Harbor Freight wet sanding paper.
