MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 - Belly of the Beast [ Battle of Shahikot Valley ]

This is part 5 of my playthrough of Medal of Honor 2010. Set in the modern era, Medal of Honor covers the opening conflicts within Afghanistan after the terror attacks in the United States which took so many innocent lives. BELLY OF THE BEAST In this mission, we play as SPC. Dante Adams of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, inserted into Shahikot Valley in support of the US Special Forces that are already in the region as well as to root any Taliban Opposition in the area. Unfortunately, things do not go according to plan right from the get go as the Taliban ambushes the Rangers as they disembarked from the helicopters, with one Chinook getting hit by an RPG and subsequently crashing right after. A feirce battle kicks off, as the Rangers try to hold their ground and push the attacking Taliban back. You and your squadmates then take the back route to try to secure the flanks and dislodge the enemy hardpoints to ease the pressure on the rest of the battalion. By doing so however, you and your squad end up cut off from the rest of the battalion.
