ODHIR Hate Crime Officer Joanna Perry on Promoting Tolerance in Europe

Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) organised a conference "Promoting tolerance in Latvia: legislation, policy and practice" on 6 December 2013 in Riga. During the conference Hate Crime Officer of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Joanna Perry shared her experience in the discussion panel "Regulation of Hate Motives in Criminal Law". The conference was co-organised with the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and financed under the Management Partnership concluded between the European Commission and the Government of Latvia. The aim of the Management Partnership is to inform the society about the European Union. EDSO Demokrātisko institūciju un cilvēktiesību biroja (ODIHR) pārstāve Džoanna Perija (Joanna Perry) piedalījās diskusiju panelī "Naida motīvu regulējums Krimināllikumā". Konferenci organizēja Rīgas Juridiskā augstskola sadarbībā ar Ārlietu ministriju. Konferenci finansē no Eiropas Komisijas un Latvijas valdības noslēgtās Vadības partnerības līdzekļiem.
