Close friends remember husband, wife killed in Folsom head-on crash

Members of the Cameron Park Country Club gathered Wednesday night to honor a married couple who they say died in a head-on car crash Tuesday afternoon in Folsom. The crash involving two vehicles was reported around 3:45 p.m. along Folsom Lake Crossing, the Folsom Police Department said. Fire personnel worked to rescue someone from the vehicle, and at least one person was transported to the hospital and later died. Close friends told KCRA 3 those who lost their lives were husband and wife Steve and Nancy Morris from the community of Rescue in El Dorado County. Danny Levine said he knew the couple for nearly 20 years.
