Jeremiah had a word/Dabar – a matter of a thing, concern, counsel, message, oracle from the self-existent eternal God. He was told to stand not at the gate, but in the gate of the Lord’s house and proclaim/Qara – accost a person to call them out, speak to reveal a secret or truth to the people that worship God. Amend/Yatab - Make well, beautiful, beneficial, finding favor, make acceptable your ways and your doings and God will cause you to dwell in this place. What is the place? In the mind of Jews and even today it is the temple, Synagogues, masque, and the churches that man built to worship God. This word from the Lord is not to the sinners of the world but the sinners in the houses of God, so called believers, saved, sanctified, filled with themselves, church folk no matter the religion or denomination. However, the tone changes to reveal the truth of God. Don’t you trust in the lying ways of your conceit saying the temple of the Lord, the cathedral of the Lord, the church of the Lord,…are these. These places that man built to show his religion, stone and wood that man shows to man that he has a relationship with God, and these places that have been consecrated holy to God but are filled with defiled worshipers. However, even while you are still in this defiling, and hypocritical sin I AM is faithful and just to forgive you if you amend your ways and doings. 1. Do not execute unrighteous judgement, partial verdicts, and bribes between man and his neighbor 2. Do not oppress/Ashaq – defraud, violate, deceive, press upon, or do violence to the immigrant strangers to your land, the fatherless, and widow. 3. Do not shed innocent blood in this place 4. Do not walk after other men that think they are gods or serve them as gods. If you do not do these things, God will allow you to dwell/Shakan – reside, permanently stay, abide, and continue in the land that I gave your fathers forever and ever. But see you trust in lies and do not trust in God. You trust in lying words from your leaders that are unprofitable. You steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsehoods, and walk after false gods that are MAGATS before God in your house that you say is God’s house every Saturday or Sunday. Will you stand before God and say we have done all these abominations. Are these the houses you call in the name of God that is a den of tyrant destroyers and robbers of the people right before their eyes and your eyes? God has seen it. However, God will not allow evil to remain in his land no matter the stone and wood houses we have dedicated to him. God will dwell in the hearts of man or man will not dwell in the land he created for US. So go ahead to your Synagogues, temples, masques, and churches do your rituals, smoke prayers, dress in your garments of official vanities, make your sacrifices, and give your offerings like God is a slot machine for blessings. God did not require any of this from you and will not respect any of this from you. What did God require of you? 1Pe 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. What does God command you? Mar 12:29-31 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
