Is Niffty X Baxter CANON? Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Shipping Analysis

Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel? Throughout season 2 one ship gained alot of traction being baxter x nifty. Let’s talk about it. So baxter and nifty’s romance is really cute because it slowly occurred in the background of a few scenes. We see them hanging out and playing games with eachother. Eventually baxter augments nifty’s bugs giving them additional limbs. This culminates during episode 8. Baxter hacks into vox’s computer system while nifty protects him from velvette. At the very end of the finale we see baxter and nifty embracing eachother. Personally i’m a big fan of this ship, it’s really adorable. I’ve seen some fans call it baxty or madmaid. It’s great because baxter matches nifty’s chaotic energy, and it also draws parallels to sir pnetious and his romance. The two scientist sinners ended up with cyclops girlfriends. I also think they’re setting up a future romance between them, with a duet in a future season. What’s cool about baxter x nifty is that it’s a really oldschool pairing. It’s been around in the fandom for years, mainly starting because of a drawing viv did on livestream of the duo sharing a milkshake. So i’m happy to see it finally canonised in the actual show.
