U.S. France Fight Terrorism
German special police have arrested five people, three of them foreign nationals, in an operation linked to last Friday’s massacre in Paris, according to Reuters. Tuesday's operations took place in the western city of Aachen, close to Germany’s border with Belgium and the Netherlands. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the Islamic State group "will feel even greater pressure" in the coming weeks as the U.S., France and other allies increase their efforts against the terrorist group. VOA’s Vincent Makori reports and later he gets more on the attacks from VOA’s Lisa Bryant, who joins Vincent live via Skype from Paris.
