
The BEST Biscoff Hot Cross Buns Recipe you’ll ever have!!!
These are THE MOST DELICIOUS Hot Cross Buns Inhave ever tasted!!! Ingredients 200mls Warm Water 100mls Warm Milk 3 tbsp Brown Sugar 1 tsp Instant Dried Yeast 1 Egg 1 tbsp Oil 2 tbsp Biscoff 3 1/2 cups Flour 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 tsp All Spice 1 Egg 3 tbsp Biscoff Cross Paste 1 tbsp Flour 1 tbsp Water 1 tsp Mollases or Biscoff Sugar Glaze 1 tbsp Sugar 1 tbsp Water Method Dollop 1 tbsp of Biscoff onto some greaseproof paper or container 10 times and place in the freezer, (you can freeze overnight) In a large bowl place Water, Milk, Sugar & Yeast, gently mix together and set aside for 5 - 10 minutes to bloom. Add Oil, Egg, Biscoff, Flour, Cinnamon & All Spice. Mix then knead with floured hand in the bowl or on lightly floured surface until smooth. Place back in your bowl, cover and sit in a warm spot to prove. If you don’t have a warm spot you can place in an oven at 35 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes. While proving your dough should double in size will take about 1 1/2 hour (depending on how hot is is that day) or 30-45 minutes in the oven. Once doubled in size, deflate by pressing in the middle and knead again lightly . Divide your dough into 10 equal portions, press into a flat circle and place your frozen Biscoff in the centre. Wrap your dough around and pinch together onthe bottom shaping the dough into a bun shape. Place on your lined baking tray allowing some space between each bun. Cover and leave to prove for 30 minutes. After your second prove bake in your oven at 200degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes As soon as they have finished baking brush with your sugar glaze and sprinkle crushed Biscoff biscuits over the top.
