The Hero Xtreme 250R is a dynamic addition to Hero MotoCorp's lineup, launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Priced at ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), this streetfighter is designed to make a significant impact in the quarter-litre motorcycle segment. Key Features: Engine and Performance: Powered by a newly developed 250cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, the Xtreme 250R delivers 30 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque. It achieves 0-60 km/h in just 3.25 seconds, offering brisk acceleration for urban and highway riding. Design and Aesthetics: The bike boasts an aggressive streetfighter stance with a sculpted fuel tank, sharp lines, and an upswept tail section. Its split-seat configuration and clean tail-light design enhance its sporty appeal. Technology and Features: Equipped with an all-LED lighting system, including a projector headlamp and H-shaped tail light, the Xtreme 250R also features a color LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional amenities include a USB Type-C charging port, hazard lights, and E-SIM-based connectivity through the Hero Connect application. Safety and Rider Aids: The motorcycle comes with dual-channel ABS, traction control, a slip-and-assist clutch, rear-wheel lift-off control, and two ride modes: Sport and Rain. Chassis and Suspension: Built on a steel trellis frame, the Xtreme 250R is suspended by an inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with 110-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tires. Braking is handled by 320mm front and 230mm rear petal disc brakes.
