On the Fourth Sunday of Lent, Rev. Dr. Cindy Alloway’s sermon, “The Power To Forgive,” encourages us to reflect God’s grace and love through forgiveness. In Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32, the Parable of the Prodigal Son shows how God welcomes us back with open arms, no matter how far we have strayed. Just as the father forgives his son, we are called to extend that same mercy to others, letting go of bitterness and resentment.
