2nd Sunday in Christmas January 5, 2024 AS WE GATHER There is little in Scripture about Jesus’ growing up, except what we hear today in Luke’s Gospel. Here Jesus makes His home within His Father’s house, discussing the Law and the Prophets with the teachers there, because they testified of Him. Jesus would make His home in you as well. With a New Year at hand, He bids you, once again, to cast your eyes on Him. Behold Him where He is found, as He draws near to you in His Word and Sacraments. What a joyful place to be.
