Teddy Pernal USMC JTAC to US Army Special Operations Force JTAC
FULL EPISODE ON YOUTUBE: LINK IN BIO It’s a great honor to introduce you to Teddy Pernal who I met when he was a Private First Class back in 2004 at 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO), when we were all training to go over to Norway. I ended up never making it to Norway, instead I went back to Iraq for another 3 years. But over the years we stayed in touch, however, it was not until a few weeks ago that we sat for this podcast that went 6 hours on site, 2 hour of film. 4 hours were for the VAULT. I can’t describe how proud I was to hear of his contributions in the special operations community. Teddy Pernal has had an extensive military career as a stellar Noncommissioned Officer with expertise in Fire Support, Joint Terminal Attack Control (JTAC), and leadership roles across various special operations units (US Marine ANGLICO & Army Special Operations Forces). With a focus on planning and executing lethal and non-lethal air, ground, and maritime targeted attacks, Teddy has served in combat operations such as Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. His proficiency as a JTAC is highlighted, demonstrating the ability to direct aircraft, artillery, and other weapons systems for both lethal and non-lethal effects in diverse operational environments. Additionally, Teddy has contributed significantly as an instructor, evaluator, and Fire Support Coordination Center Chief, mentoring and developing hundreds of service members. Alongside his military career, he holds leadership positions in several civilian organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and service-disabled veterans, demonstrating a commitment to both military and civilian communities. Looking ahead, Teddy is eager to continue leveraging his expertise and leadership skills to contribute to the professionalism and lethality of military operations as a Field Artillery Technician Warrant Officer.
