ㅇ 롤러코스터(Rollercoaster)의 “Last Scene" Bass Cover 입니다. 다시듣는 Replay Bass Project 94번째 곡이구요^^ 정말로 오랜만에 들어보고 연주해보는 곡입니다. 우연히 얼마전 자주 방문하는 네이버카페에서도,,그리고 유투버 중 누군가도 이곡을 업로딩한걸 듣게 됐는데,,그게 딱 20여년 전으로 테잎이 감기듯,,그런 느낌이 오더군요..ㅎㅎ 오늘은 90년대말부터 2000년대 초반까지 활동했던 롤러코스터 (rollercoaster) 의 3집앨범 곡중 라스트씬(last scene)이란 곡을 커버해 봤는데요.. 지금도 이분들의 인지도와 영향력은 대단하지요! 베이시스트 지누, 기타리스트 이상순, 보컬 조원선 이렇게 세명이 만들어낸 한국형 애시드 재즈의 초반 모습은 홈레코딩에서 시작했다고 합니다..리더인 지누가 집에서 녹음하고 하던,,뭐 지금은 대부분 그렇게 하고 있지만,,당시엔 생소했던 작업을 시작으로 롤러코스터 1집이 만들어진거구요 ... 3집으로 오면서 일렉트로니카 성향의 느낌이 가미가 된거 같네요..이상순의 기타는 지금들어도 깔끔하고,,베이스 라인은 전형적인 애시드 펑키라인인 9th 텐션코드를 사용하고 있네요.. 아 최근에 들은 소식은 보컬 조원선씨가 5년정도 암투병을 끝냈다는 이야기가 있었네요.어서 다시 이 세분 모두 한 무대에 다시 연주를 보여줬으면 하는 바람이네요.. 원곡 99% 그대로 라인은 카피했구요,,중간 기타 간주부분은 베이스로 살짝 흉내내 봤네요.. 갖고 있는 디스토션과 드라이브 모두 덮었는데도,,맛이 않난다는..ㅠㅠ 암튼 20년이 훌쩍 넘었는데도,,전혀 촌스럽거나 부끄럽지 않는 너무 멋있는곡입니다.. 다시한번 옛 추억을 더듬어 볼수 있어 넘 좋은 곡이었습니다.. 그럼 좋은밤! 굿나잇^^ 00:00 INTRO 00:30 VOCAL 01:01 BRIDGE 01:17 CHORUS 01:47 VOCAL_2ND 02:02 BRIDGE 02:18 CHORUS 02:48 DIST_SOLO 03:04 CHORUS 03:35 CHORUS_OUTRO 04:05 SOLO_OUTRO It's a song I've heard and played for the first time in a long time. By chance, I heard this song uploaded by someone on Naver Cafe, which I visit often, and on YouTube, and it felt like the tape was being rolled back exactly 20 years ago. Today, I covered the song "Last Scene" from Rollercoaster's 3rd album, which was active from the late 90s to the early 2000s. Even now, their popularity and influence are amazing. The early days of Korean acid jazz, created by bassist Jinu, guitarist Lee Sang-soon, and vocalist Jo Won-sun, are said to have started with home recording. Jinu, the leader, recorded at home, and although most people do that now, it was an unfamiliar task at the time, and that's how Rollercoaster's first album was created. I think the electronica feel was added to the 3rd album. Lee Sang-soon's guitar is still clean, and the bass line is typical. They're using the 9th tension code of the Ashit Funky Line.. Ah, I recently heard that vocalist Jo Won-sun has finished his 5-year battle with cancer. I hope all three of them will perform together on stage again soon.. I copied the line 99% of the original song, and I slightly imitated the guitar interlude in the middle with the bass.. I covered all the distortion and drive I had, but it's not tasty..ㅠㅠ Anyway, even though it's been over 20 years, it's a really cool song that doesn't sound old or embarrassing at all.. It was a really good song that made me reminisce about old times once again.. Then good night!
