Prove It! - Part Four| Sunday Evening Service | November 3, 2024 We have looked at Paul's exhortation to the Church in the Romans 12. Romans 12:1-2 (1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. In this final message, we will discuss what it means to prove the will of God, as well as, what is meant by,"…that good, acceptable, and perfect, will of God." So far we have discussed the purpose behind his pleading and what would be the result if the church were to truly present themselves in this way unto God. The main point was that we as believers should Prove The Gospel. To prove that it actually is the power of God unto salvation, that it changes lives, that rightousness is obtained through faith in the Gospel. Then we looked at James where we discussed Proving Our Faith. We say we believe, now we need to prove it. Last week we looked at what it means to not be conformed to this world and to rather be Transformed.
