City Heights Hit & Run Leads To DUI Arrest 6/17/2018

Date/Time: 6/17/2018 - Approx. 3:00am City: San Diego Location: Polk Ave. & 41st St. (City Heights) Incident Details; San Diego Police received a call of a Vehicle Collision on University Ave and 42nd St in City Heights. Police learned that one of the vehicles left after the crash. A witness managed to get the license plate and police found out that the registered owner lived nearby. Officers searched the area and found the suspect in the vehicle parked near 41st St. and Polk Ave. The suspect was given field sobriety tests and it was confirmed that he was driving under the influence. The driver that was the victim of the Hit & Run was not injured.
