Theme: The Our Father Prayer Catholic religion is an interiorized religion and a relationship. Transformation to become more like Christ, to immitate Christ the son of God, as we are adopted children of the father. Rules & regulations are instruments for us to establish a personal relationship with God. Three Important religious activities for the transformation of the heart are: 1.) Prayer - transforms us by nourishing our faith in God, also builds a relationship with our Father(God). 2.) Almsgiving - transform the world through your generosity toward the unprivileged. 3.) Fasting - transforms us through self-discipline, self-control, and self-denial. Four(4) P's in the first part of the Our Father Prayer; 1.) Person of God, He is a person not a thing, in fact He is a Father. 2.) His Proper name "hallowed be thy name" 3.) His Power - thy kingdom. 4.) His Purpose - thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Three(3) P's in the second part of the Our Father Prayer is about us; 1.) Provision - give us this day our daily bread 2.) Pardon - forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sinned against us. 3.) Protection - lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil (protection against temptation & evil).
