3 DIY DECOR FLIPS! DOLLAR TREE & THRIFT ITEMS! FRENCH COUNTRY SHABBY FARMHOUSE DECOR (160)

In this video I recreate 3 DIY decor flips! I am working on things I already have around my home that needs some decor TLC. I want to up cycle some pieces I already have on hand without having to spend a lot of money on purchasing new pieces for my home. I want to show how you can take some mix and match pieces that you may have gotten at a yard sale, thrifted or may be thinking of getting rid of and demonstrate how you can totally transform them to fit the desired look you are wanting to achieve. I transform a wicker mannequin form I purchased for $5 and turn it into a shabby chic decor piece that can be embellished and styled so many ways. I spray paint the mannequin form with Heirloom White Satin and then go over it with Rustoleum Chiffon Cream chalk paint. I also transform a metal mannequin candle sconce that I purchased from a yard sale for $1. I spray paint it with Heirloom White and then show the many ways you can embellish and style this piece using scrap fabrics, ribbons, lace and embellishments from Totally Dazzled. I up cycled some Dollar Tree clipboards that I made a previous DIY video on last Fall and add a free printable graphic from the Graphics Fairy website and some embellishments. I apply the graphics by using an Elmers glue stick but you could also use mod podge or spray adhesive. I style all the pieces together showing how easy and affordable you can transform pieces you may already have at home into French country, shabby chic or farmhouse styles you are going for. These transformed pieces will make great additions to any French country, shabby, farmhouse decor or style in your home. I love the French country, shabby, farmhouse style and color palettes and with some paint, embellishments and creativity, it's easy to totally transform pieces you already have. I show in the video how well these pieces can be paired with various colors and I stage them showing the many ways they can dress up any space in your home and bring out that French Country Shabby Farmhouse flare!
