The day aims to highlight the role of first aid in saving lives and to encourage people to learn and practice first aid skills. By raising awareness and providing training opportunities, World First Aid Day seeks to empower individuals to respond confidently and competently to accidents and medical emergencies. This year, the Philippine Red Cross - Cebu Chapter is thrilled to commemorate World First Aid Day with an exciting new event: the First Aid Amazing Race 2024! This dynamic competition will transform Cebu City's public spaces into a thrilling racecourse, with various stations featuring a range of First Aid-related challenges. Contestants will navigate these stations, putting their First Aid skills to the test in a race filled with adventure and learning.
