Proverbs 23:26(KJV): My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. There are three realms of vision that any Christian whose spiritual sight is activated must function in. The first realm is the vision of God. How do you see the Lord? It is through your heart. In Matthew 5:8, the Bible says, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” The purity of your heart defines the accuracy of your vision of God. In our theme scripture, the Lord says give Him your heart and your eyes shall observe His ways. The more yielded your heart is to Him, the greater your spiritual sight. For this reason, the Word of God is very important because it purges our hearts and as it does, we see God more clearly. Study and listen to the Word conscious of the fact that it is continuously correcting and perfecting your vision of God. This is why you cannot judge Him foolishly or misrepresent His character.
