Here’s my ranking of all the mini-bosses from EASIEST to TOUGHEST, based on how many attempts they took and how long they lasted! No. 5 – Fungiwoman (Easiest Boss in Chapter 4) - The first Fungi Boss Fungiwoman Location - From the Court of Illumination in the Temple of Yellow Flowers, this is one of those classic “innocent-looking object turns into a boss” fights. You think you’re just picking up a harmless plant, and boom—she pops up! Now, she should be challenging since she can regenerate HP, but honestly she’s too soft! It didn’t take long to bring her down. That said, the fight was still interesting and definitely not boring! No. 4 – Elder Armourworm (Caterpillar boss) Elder Armourworm Location - The Verdure Bridge His moveset is Basic. His damage output is HUGE. Coming from Webbed Hollow, where everything was throwing new mechanics at me, this fight felt like a refreshing change of pace. A simple, no-nonsense battle. His heavy swings hurt, but nothing my staff couldn’t handle. Took him down in one try. No. 3 – Centipede Guai (Centipede Boss) Centipede Guai Location - Middle Hollow This one is just plain TOUGH. Found near the Middle Hollow shrine, Centipede Guai would’ve been labeled as ‘Difficult’ if he wasn’t so weak to Immobilization. His most annoying skill is Summoning a swarm of tiny insects(?) that overwhelm you. If you don’t avoid it, Guaranteed death! He wrecked me on my first try, but on the second? I dominated him. No. 2 – Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw (The FROG Boss in Chapter 4) He may be an “insect eater” type, but he’s getting ranked anyway! This frog boss was difficult—way harder than the frogs I’ve fought in Chapters 1-3 (those were a joke!). I was so reliant on Ring of Fire, I accidentally used it IN THE WATER (yeah, that went about as well as you'd expect). It took me three attempts to beat him. His attack patterns were completely different from what I was used to, and honestly? Frog bosses are annoying in the best way possible. No. 1 – Beetle Commander (Hardest & Most Fun!) Beetle Master Boss What can I say? I LOVED this fight! He has disciples? I have clones! His attacks were varied, unpredictable, and his armor made him an absolute tank. This fight was no joke. Four tries, nearly all my healing gourds used up, two transformations, and every last drop of my mana spent. Easily one of the best multi-enemy boss fights. Honorable Mentions – Scorpion Prince & Snake Sheriff These guys could’ve made the list. They both come with extra enemies that make the fights way harder, and I almost died fighting them. Scorpion Prince could easily be a boss fight if Game Science wanted to, he is the son of SCORPION LORD after all Timestamp 00:00 No.5 Fungiwoman Location - Court of Illumination 00:27 No.5 Fungiwoman Boss fight 01:28 No.4 Elder Armourworm Location - The Verdure Bridge 01:42 No.4 Elder Armourworm Boss fight 02:44 No.3 Centipede Guai Location & Boss fight 05:38 No.2 Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw Location - Lower Hollow 05:55 No.2 Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw Boss fight 08:05 No.1 Beetle Commander Location - Forest of Ferocity 08:25 No.1 Beetle Commander Boss fight 11:08 Honorable Mention 1 - Snake Sheriff 12:39 Honorable Mention 2 - Scorpion Prince
