March 16, 2025- Jesus the Bread of Life; John 6:25-35; Second Sunday in Lent

After Jesus fed the 5,000 (actually more since the 5,000 counted only men), he walked on water, got into the boat, and traveled across the Sea of Galilee. When the crowd woke up the next morning and Jesus wasn't there, they went looking for him. They were hungry again! Jesus used this occasion to talk about the bread that perishes and the bread that leads to everlasting life. Do we seek the bread that perishes or do we place our trust in Jesus, the Bread of Life?
